Do any of you guys have an ebay account using paypal who would be prepared to help me.

I want to buy the stainless steel inserts for the grill on my 1999 Camaro.

Emblempros have them for $34 but want $43 for shipping. What I am hoping for is that someone would get them for me and post tham using normal mail which would only cost a few $. I'm prepared to pay for them up front by paypal plus something for the trouble, what you think the trouble is worth.

USPS priority mail (packages), provided it isn't longer than 23-11/16", to the UK is $77.95. Where are you coming up with only a few dollars? I presume that grille isn't going to fold up very well to fit into an envelope, which is a lower rate that you may be suggesting.

 

I think you are going to find that our shipping services for non- corporate accounts are WAY over priced. Stuff I can ship through my company is up to 1/5 the cost of what it costs me as an individual to head to the local shipping store and ship something to the UK.

I know this because I got an estimate once and forgot to give our corporate account number. The shipping manager knew right away when she saw the shipping estimate. She said it was too high unless I was shipping a truck.

I want the stainless steel inserts for the front grill ( the letters that spell Camaro).

A bought the rear panel inserts and they came in a box the size of a shoe box and on the custom form it said it weighed 3 grams. I ended up paying $39 for the shipping and $30 for customs and handling that was on top of the $39 I paid for the letters. So I was just trying to save a bit of money.

A company who sells the plastic inserts has told me he would send them in a normal envelope and it would only cost $1.10.

I guess it was too much to expect.
