Default Need an answer on the top coolant bleeder screw.

When I have the camaro running to bleed the coolant system should I have this top coolant hose screw open or what? I have full heat blasting running and no coolant or anything comes out of the top bleed screw on the small coolant line. With rad cap on or off. I just filled the engind with water and bled the system. O. I see coolant coming out as I stand over my camaro. I guess nvm!

glad to see you got it figured out. when there was no coolant coming out it was because it was bleeding off the air.

Tyvm. I think I messed up and may have let air into the system because I didn't have the bleed screw on and had to turn the car off and wait fOr it to stop bursting with antifreeze love before I cOuld reinstall the screw. I failed lol. Tomorrow I'll do he same thing except this time I'll keep the screw on a bit . Wish me luck!

lol ya probably a good idea to leave the screw in a little. theres a hole in the side of the bleeder for the air to come out and than the screw seals it up.
