My oil pressure gauge is not staying in one place.

The 10 PSI per 1000 RPMs is a minimum. Anything less then that is a problem. High oil pressure is a problem for your seals but 60 PSI is not high oil pressure. I think your relief valve comes set to 65 PSI. That means if the pump makes it to 65 that valve will bleed off any pressure above that. You engine sounds normal to me. I also think the oil pressure droping is a on slowing down is a function of the sending unit. I have noticed on on a lot of cars. I think if you hooked up a manual pressure gage you would find it just returns to 40 PSI.
I have heard guys say their motors blew because of high oil pressure but they have it twisted. What normally happens is the bearing starts to spin (AKA fail) and seals off the oil hole this will cause the oil pressure to peg then the motor starts making a bunch of noise. They think it was because they saw the oil pressure go up that what caused the issue but the spike in oil pressure was the result of the failing motor not the cause.

If your pressure was too high it would leak around the rear and front main and leave a puddle. If it gets too low your valves will tap. Your car is fine. You can hook up a manual gage to verify pressure but like I said your gage is working absolutely normal. There is more chance you will cause a problem wrenching the manual gage in then there is of you finding something that was fixable anyway.

I was wondering if I take off my rim and tire, but leave the tire and rim together. And put it back on would i have to get a alignment. I have a appt for alignment and oil change but I am later going to repair the tire. If i have to align it again after that i mise well not align it until after?

What should my transmission temperature be at. Right when i start the car up its usually 180. After driving for a couple minutes it goes up to 200 at half, and i havent drove the car for more thank 15 minutes but i havent really seen it go past half to much. I didnt notice it got this hot until after my oil change today they put 5w30 in and its summer and the car has 160k miles. Idk if that makes a difference. Is that temp normal.
