If you have the funds edelbrock has a nice set of heads. I am sure if you give them a call they can hook up with something that will work well with that CAM. If you are low on funds do some reseach, with a little work the Vortech 350 heads from the mid 90's trucks do pretty good.

If you're looking at aluminum heads, get AFR (Air Flow Research). They perform better than EdelBricks.
If iron heads, Vortec's are pretty damn good. But you need to do some machining on them to run a decent lift cam, and you have to use a Vortec specific intake manifold.

There is no real way to answer that. First we would need to know the specs of your motor. But even then no one can be sure how much it will help. Think about it. If you have a set of 350 heads off a 1976 and a 350 block with a set of flat top piston stroked to a 383 a carb and a distributor that will support the RPMs then a set of heads would make a huge differents. But if that is a bone stock 305 from 1979 with a set of double hump 2.02 heads on it and a old carter carb and a set of points then the heads are not going to help much.

The best way to build a motor is to decide what you want first. "I want 450 HP and I want the power band from 5300-6200 RPMs" Now you are ready to start picking parts.

Since your motor is all ready built and your "I just want more power mode" you need to figure out what parts are holding you back. And more importantly what do you really want.

Everyone always says I want the most power! But at what cost? Lets say you find a set of heads that will add 200 HP you would want them? but what if that HP was only in the 5500 RPMs and up. It will make your 1/4 mile time faster make your dyno score higher but your car may be slower in everyday traffic situations. These head will flow great at high CFM but the larger ports can cause the air to slow down at lower RPMs and you could get less charge into the cylinder at 2500 RPMs you will have less torqure and therefore less HP at 2500 RPMs.

That is why I suggest giving Elelbrock a call. Calls are free. If you tell them the specs on the motor then will tell you what options you have and what HP to expect with what cost. Maybe AFR will do the same exact thing.

Camaro 69 is much better at the performance thing then I am. Most of the parts that are out now where not around when I built racing motors. Maybe right after you call Edelbrock you should give AFR a call. Back in the Day Edelbrock was the only game in town I didn't even know about the Vortec heads till 69 posted a couple of links then I did some searching, there is a lot of good info out there on those also.

Sounds pretty good, but I think you could have almost lost your camera.
