Here in PA, 25 years or older is considered a Antique. Its very tempting since it reduces the cost of just about everything but mostly insurance. You not suppose to drive an antique at night. O yea I am old. I remember the first 93 showing up at the dealer. I was 28 years old.
Twenty-five years is the key.
Yes, here in VA, one is to drive 'occasionally' for pleasure. Not a DD, which I understand. I have three other vehicles for DD duty.
It goes if Mr. Bear sees the same antique vehicle more than once a week, then his ears perk up next time.
So now I have two as antique, '88 Dually & '67 RS, and both insured by Hagerty, at a stated value and insurance is less then one vehicle for 6 months.

I was 37 in '93.
I've been thinking about getting classic car plates for my '78 square body 4X4,it gets driven very little anymore just in ice and snow or to tow a boat and haul heavy stuff and what not.
I drove it a lot back when gas was a dollar a gallon but with a 454 rat and 4:46 gears it got semi-retired when gas shot up in price.

a little more then 50% of the 93's will have a manufacture date in 1992. Should be starting in July of 92. I am not in a hurry but I should check that.
