I have a 01 ss with a Vortec super charger . Vortec says that it puts out 150 hp, making my car at about 470 hp. It runs a 12.8 in the quarter. It seems to me that it should be a little quicker e.t. than that.I would like to get it to dip down into the 11's without spray. Is there anything else that i could do any help would be appr.I know theres alot of you out there running a little faster than that.

 

did you tune the car? any other work done to the car?

 

We need some more info on your other mods. If it's all stock except the super charger you need to get some supporting bolt-ons on the car, I can guarantee if you don't have headers and a good cat-back it's choking the exhaust side down quite a bit. Other than that, if you could post what speed you trapped at, my guess is that you have a pretty bad 60' time due to traction issues. A good set of drag radials will work wonders, just be careful with the stock 10 bolt rearend.
