my friend owns a 1997 z28 5.7L/6spd. the mods he has on it right now are

K&N Air intake kit
Chip (dont remember what kind but he said it was the best)
Cat back Borla exhaust w/ x-pipe
150 shot of nitrous

he has about a grand to spend and he wanted me to ask you guys whats the best way he can get more horsepower? He wants to put a cam in it with a 300 something lift. i told him he probably shoudnt do it but i also told him id ask some more experienced people about it. Thanks

 

Long tube headers and Y pipe combo or a cam, but if he does recam it, recomend 1.6:1 roller rockers along with it. That's probably my next step, either that or a good set of heads.
