would these work plug and play style with 4th gens?

The Camaro stereo does not like iPod adaptors, I cant see the listing from my work computer but my friend attempted to install one on his car and it caused the stereo to lock itself. He had to pay GM $75 to have them unlock the stereo (can only be done with a TechII). My Avalanche had a very similar looking stereo in it with Monsoon but it would accept modules like iPod and HD radio just fine. It has something to do with the satalite module in the stereo I had and the Camaros never came with the satalite radio.

what the listing is, is a complete monsoon deck that fits in the slot on our cars, the plugs look the same shape on the back, front is identical to ours, however this one has a headphone jack on the back labeled AUX, so im wondering if it`ll work
