Default modern F body's do how will it handle a 400LB person??

i have a friend and am strongly considering NOT putting him in the passenger side because I think it will be hard on the interior and the bucket seats etc...

anyone think there is any truth to it or am i overworrying?

As long as it isn't for a long drive you may want to consider letting him in. Unless he is going to thrash around then I absolutly wouldn't let him in. I've never had that problem though. All the people in my passenger seat are supermodel thin hotties. [&o]

i honestly think a 400lb person for a short period would be hard on it though.

when you consider multiple multiple times through the years, and if i want this car to last a very long time.

the seats are designed to handle you in a crash, that is their sole purpose. in the event of a crash, you turn into a 150lbs (or whatever u weigh)projectile that the seat is designed to keep restrained. In this circumstance, you will exert more force on the seat (and the seat will survive) than anything ur fat friend can throw at it.

given that, i would assume everything is fine.

Lets be honest..There is no way possible you can tell your old lady she cant ride in your camaro...Just be honest with her. Tell her...whoops did I say old lady, I ment your "friend". What??????? Ya I said what everybody else was thinking.. Anyways, just tell her that you have the donut spare on that side and she is a fat ***. And being married to her already has cramped your style. The only way you get to feel good about yourself is cruising around looking at hot chicks.

If it were my friend then I would let him ride but as anyone who owns an F-body knows that these cars are not built for large or tall people. He may have a hard time getting in and probably even more trouble trying to get out. Your car, your call.
