Default Manual transmission fluid question

When I was putting in my MGW short throw shifter, I noticed the resivour was low on transmission fluid. does the resivour under the shifter need to be filled?

P.S. don't laugh at my stupid question :$

The manual trans is full of fluid when it is at the level of the bottom of the fill hole. Make sure the car is parked on a level surface.

The fluid drain plug, and fill plug (above the drain) are on the passenger side of the trans. The cavity that you're referring to, where the shifter goes into, isn't a reservoir.
