Default LT1 vs LS1 Mod Question

Just straight out of curiosity, what engine accepts mods better; the LT1 or the LS1? Originally, I thought I read the LT1, but now I'm reading that the LS1 actually does. Not that it really matters much to me, but could someone clear this up and explain why?

Thanks for the help!

ls1 can make more hp with the same mods. it is more advanced than the lt1. lt1 is a good motor and in its time was the motor to have. ls series will soon be left in the dust by the new lt1

As always, thanks again for the help.

Even though the LS series may be "newer," I'm sure I'll have no issues having some fun with my old LT1.

The lt1 was a great motor other than the opti spark and water pump design. I like the one in my old 97 but my 98 with ls1 is a night a day difference stock vs stock

LS1s are beginning to show their age a bit and while they are very easy and provide more power over the LTx, as mentioned, you have to look at that era where LT1s were running the show. As of late, LT1s are becoming that motor to have again due to parts being available for them to be modified and provide buckets of power. Not to mention, LTs are getting the job done no problem when lining up at the tree. Certainly not taking anything away from LSx whatsoever, but I like the fact that the LTs are underrated and have left room for improvement.

Kinda apples and oranges. I own one of each and I would say they both respond nicely to modifications, but remember the LS series starts off with more hp and torque. , so its going to need less to make more.... Ive had L98, Lt1 (x3) LS6 (x2) and an LT5 (ZR-1). Ive modded all of them in one way or another. The LS6 is one helluva an engine and really responds well to pretty much any mod you can throw at it.
