Default LT1 to LS1 Conversion.

I got a 93 z28 that I'm thinking about doing a LS1 swap in, I get the trans and all with the ls1..What all would I need? The Trans is an 4L60E. I'm buying the whole donor car for 3500 if I do it.

I just don't see how it will? the car is beyond repairable, atleast for me and my resources, it has frame damage out the ***. I'm using it for mostly interior parts, the engine and trans, the rearend, and whatever else I can salvage. then im hauling it off, lol.

Roach, I do get the whole car, which is wrecked with frame damage, if it didnt have frame damage, I'd just fix that car.. And I do got the time..Summer break isnt to far away for me.. 24 days left of school..about 4 weeks 6 days. all together.

Yeah if you have EVERYTHING you need (motor, trans, harness, cross-member, etc) and a lot of time and patience then I would do it. But if you wanted to do it from scratch then I would say your out of your mind.

your gonna need to pretty much swap everything over. so prepare for the long haul, get everything in order before you start. take the donor car apart completely inventory everything you have that is good then start from there.
