Default LT1 or LS1

*Mods feel free to move this is necessary-

So around January I plan on getting a good hunk of change (around $2700) After finishing up the final fixings on this car (ball joints and blinkers) It should be my DD for college up until around that point, then I plan on selling it (It's only been driven a total of maybe 50 miles with all the mods stated in my restoration thread, they're mostly bolt ons). I spent well into 2 grand restoring it and plan on selling it hopefully for around 2 grand (its got 160XXX) Which in turn leaves me with around 5 grand, ill have money from Christmas and working so around 5.5 grand. There are LT1's selling around my area for 2-3 grand (ikr? pretty awesome) should I get a good mileage LT1 for around 3 grand and use the rest for mods? or spend the whole and get a decent LS1?I know these isnt an insanely good budget but I am a broke college kid and I finally want to jump on the V8 wagon

this isn't even a question, LS1 cars can be had for 4-5k all day now and I'm sorry but the LSx platform is so far superior to any LTx platform that its not even a comparison

Graduating college = good job = money = nicer car. And I would go with LS1 if I had a choice. Easier to tune and such.
