I know the stainless headers turn color after awhile. Would ceramic headers stay their color, or would they also turn a little?

Just curious, what is the hesitation?

I've had problems with headers before and want to make sure I get something good. Also I don't want to look at them a couple hundred miles later and they look ugly.

Another question, I know what the EGR is but what is the AIR? And if I get the headers without these how would it make my car run before the tune?

Got it narrowed down to 2. Pacesetter and Jet Hot. Which one is better in quality and fitment?

AIR is simply fresh air being pushed into the exhaust stream. This helps burn unburnt fuel and also helps the CAT doing its gas conversion. There are CATs out there that dont need the fresh air, so if you remove the AIR system you should get CATs that dont need the air. Also you will have to get the AIR system tuned out of your computer. The o2 sensors can detect if the system is working properly.

EGR needs to be tuned out or you throw a code, AIR does not. If you said off road y then you won't have a cat. Anyway, since you are going long tubes and off road y hope you already have a CAI? Once you are done, and about a month later after you replace the fouled O2's is when you contact Solomon and get a 93 octane tune.

you will be shocked at what CAI and long tubes and a tune do for these cars

I not only had EGR deleted in my tune but VATS as well
