lt1 DOHC SOHC?

Default lt1 DOHC SOHC?

I feel a little dumb not knowing this myself, but i cant find it on any website. Is a 1994 camaro z28 a single cam or a twin cam?

Im almost postive they are just Single Cams.

It's not either of the 2 you posted, both of those are overhead cam. The LT1 is a pushrod V8 built on the traditional SBC block, so it has one cam in the block.

only the ZR1 LT5 is a DOHC, the rest is pushrod

Is there any benefit between a overhead cam opposed to one that uses pushrods and vice versa?

the advantage of one cam? vs no cam? is that what youre saying? unless you have rotary, you have a cam. over head cam, less moving parts, higher reving, more valves per cylinder

no, i was kinda kidding. look at the power one makes then think about what 2 makes.. and rotaries suck nuts..

u suck nuts, the rotarys are really good for what they are, they may be a torqueless woder, but still those damn 7's are fast as ****
