LT1 camaro or LS1 camaro

RE: LT1 camaro or LS1 camaro
I'm a fan of the 93-97 front end(and that's why I have one!). I like the recessed headlights and the slick looking front, the LS1 front end kinda looks like GM threw some bondo at the car and rounded it off...

RE: LT1 camaro or LS1 camaro
personally i think the 97 and down cars just dont look as aggressive, goes for firebirds too. Sitting side by side i just think the lt1 cars look weaker. And im impartial because I thought that even when I owned a mustang

As badass as the LT1 looks that's not why I like it. I like the LT1 because it's the original design.
I was always into designing, my dad had his degree in industrial design too. 9 years old and I'd draw concept cars and show it to him and use his ideas for the next concept...I'll post some drawings here too sometime.
So yeah anyways that's why I'm hella **** on design, I think a car's design should have fluidity, should follow a nice common shape and pattern all over the body. It should be sharp, but not too full of details.
I hate the LS1 front end AND back. It lost the fluidity and matching shapes that were used on the LT1. LT1 on the other hand is a thing of beauty in my humble opinion. Look at an LT1 from above, it looks incredible.
I prefer the LS1 TA to the LT1 TA. Very sharp design yet not as plain as the LT1 TA, the lines are curved just enough. It's interesting how it resembles the LT1 Camaro with the shape of the headlights too. I especially like it with the WS6 hood. Now thats badass.
Some other designs I like: Mark IV Supra, RX7 FC & FD, RX8, 99-03 Mustang, Corvette C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, 06 Impreza, Nissan GT-R R32, R33, R34, and believe it or not boring cars like 01-06 Camry, 6th & 7th gen Accord, last gen Taurus, etc. They're boring but they have good design.
Some cars I dislike: R35 GT-R, last gen Civic, last gen Accord, last gen Impreza (the sedan especially), 3rd gen Taurus, Pontiac Aztek, Ford Escort ZX2, last gen Mazda 3 (the one with the big grin), etc.

I bought my 95 because of the front end. I don't like the looks of the 98+. The best of both worlds would be an LS1 in the 93-97 body.
The optispark is the price we must pay for having the better looking model years.
So, we can poke fun at the 98-2002 guys because of that silly front end but, they can have the last laugh because we have the optispark.
