Default Ls1 that will not die!!!

Well its been 101,000 miles. Countless track passes. 3 nitrous kits. And a Turbocharger..... AND IT STILL ALIVE!!!

Today i trailored the TA down to the track today because i did not think it would be coming back. All day sunday i added a little dry kit to the car. I didnt think that the car would hold up to spray and boost but after 4 nitrous passes today she took it like a champ. I had expected to be forced to tow the old girl home but no such luck . Maybe next time

In the meantime we are working on her replacement. Keep things very simple with a stock crank with some good rods and pistons for the moment so nothing too extream. I had planed on uping the turbo to a 67 but now i plan on holding off for the new engine and maybe going with a 72 trim using a small no lag system to build boost off the line.

The goal now is to brake the 10s with the stock engine. We may or may not make it. But we will make it or blow her trying
