Default Ls1 tick?

I notice a quiet tick relative to the engine speed. I do have a random multiple cylinder misfire which could be associated with the cause.

It's most noticable when I am in between vehicles or near a wall at idle.
I can't really hear it when I rev it or when I open the hood.

It is also most noticable under the vehicle. I did just do I clutch change but don't think it has anything to do with that as I could hear this before.

Any guesses?

If happening just when it is cold and goes away when it warms-up, that is "normal", see:
GM Piston Slap -- Like a Knock

Regardless, be sure you are checking your oil level at least every 2nd week...

Maybe you have an exhaust leak. its possible since you removed the exhaust to do the clutch right?

Here is a link to the video I took the other day (see below). I just replaced my plugs that day and it made no difference. It happens warm or cold, it's consistent with the engine speed. I have a mechanics stethoscope and I can hear the injectors clicking properly. It sounds like it's coming from under the engine, but I have not pin pointed the sound yet.

Maybe if you didn't stand the car on end it would idle better. Does sound like an exhaust leak to me too.
