Sounds about right to me.

I'm lucky, I pay 600 for a year for full.

I wanna know where you guys are getting your insurance!! I was looking at a 02 TransAm before I bought my Camaro and my insurance was gonna be something like 1600 every 6 months... its one of the reasons I didnt buy the car. I couldnt understand that since I'm 35 years old and have a perfectly clean driving record. So... where are you getting it so cheap?

Where are you located. I am 17 also and I know for my car (99 Z28) in Pennsylvania outside Philly it would be between 2500-3000 a year on my own policy. Luckily since my mom doesn't have a car in her name she is listed as primary driver so I pay 1400 per year. My brother on the other hand out in Missouri pays something like 600 a year for his car with full coverage and he is only 20 on his own policy. A lot has to do with your location.

I have an LT1 and since it is such a cheap car I just have liability insurance and it runs me 300 every six months.

During the summer when we were shopping around for a car we also were checking out insurance prices. Insurance for my 2000 Camaro would be the same for a C4 and a LT1 F-body about $110 a month. For an LS1 F-body it would be around $140 a month. I'm 16 and those policies are for comp./collision, and liability with the good student discount.

Ok wait, I just thought about something... How many of you guys are on your parents insurance? If you have multiple cars on your insurance its way cheaper. I'm 35 and this is my only vehicle.
