loud bucking when on gas in drive

Default loud bucking when on gas in drive

just when i thought i was out the woods, when i am driving, let off the gas, then go back on (even if lightly) the car is bucking, is it the poly mount?? heellp

just checked the 4 crossmember bolts and the mount nut, everything is tight as can be, ideas? tore the motor mount? i checked the mounts for the exhaust thats connected to the tranny, and they are in wayy better condition that the original tranny mount

any takers? i didnt touch anything else so im thinking this- which side motor mount takes the load when the car is in drive? passenger or driver? i didnt notice the buck when in reverse.

The torque of the engine wants to lift the drivers side.
Your motor mounts are a clamshell type, so even if one is bad, it can't move far.

sounds like the converter may be locking up at low speeds. does the motor seem to be running ok?

yep motor runs the same, just did an oil change. i was harassing it then it started doing it. the way it sounds like the exhaust is hitting the body, when i looked, nothing was loose or out of place.

check that trans mount and see if it busted. make sure you torque bar bushing is ok too.

the mount looks okay still, but erm.. which one is the torque arm bushing?

its hooked to the trans mount. theres a bushing in there that the torque bar goes into. the trans mount can look ok but be broken, unhook the trans mount and lift the trans up to make sure it stays in one piece.

craps.. 9 degrees outside

if its something bushing wise, would anything get damaged if i drive the car?
