Is loosing coolant normal?
Ok so I just bought a 1995 Camaro z28 with lt1 & 6speed manual! Anyways I drove the car back to my house maybe a good 60-65 mile drive and I checked it after it cooled down and I had to add about 3ish water bottles to it to reach the top.
Then I drove it 4 miles to school today and like 10 miles after school and I had to add about 1 or 2 water bottles worth to fill raidiator back up!
Now I do realize that the cars raidiators gonna surge and maybe a half a bottle of water should dissapper so does this happen to you guys also? Oh and before driving it home im not sure if he had topped the raidiator off prior or not and the car doesn't have a blown head gasket or a intake leak anywhere.

No it is not normal. Is the reserve low also? If your reserve is not overflowing you have some type of leak. Could be anything from a bad radiator cap to a cracked block and just about anything between.
Borrow a pressure tester from a chain parts store and pressure test your coolant system. Before you put the pressure tester on check or leaking around the water pump. That can damage your opti and if you pump up pressure it could spray right on the Opti.

i just recantly had the same issue for me it turned out to be the coolent level sensor. turns out the piece on the coolent overflow tank broke off and the battery was up against the sensor just enough to let a little coolent come out.
