I just noticed that my 94s tilt steering is loose in the up and down motion. I've done an early S10 tilt column before and it was quite challenging. I'm wondering if the the 4th gen is even more complicated and would the SRS make it more of a pain?

Thanks for the link Import but I was looking more into disassembly and repairing the actual pivots and locking pawl section of the column.

 

oh, sorry. i would think it would be cheaper and easyer to call a salvage yard and just replace the whole column.
