Looks Like I Just Lost 15HP
Well, today I spent all day washing, clay barring, waxing and all around detailing my '94 Z. Ever since I bought the car in November 2011 I have been wanting to get rid of this raggedy old "Performance" sticker near the rear badge, but either forgot or didn't have anything to do it with.
I just used a hair dryer and some of those wooden cuticle things from the beauty section. One of the Ladies here on the forum suggested it and it worked amazingly. Then I used some citrus cleaner to clean up the goo that was left behind and proceeded to wash, clay bar, and wax the rest of my ride. Here is an after pic.
The thing is I guess that without the sticker my car is no longer a "Performance" vehicle. That sticker was worth at least 15 HP right?

Honestly nothing, I just cleaned them up really good. Maybe a little elbow grease. Seriously though, it may be because the sun was going down when I took the second pic and I think the flash went off for the second one and not the first one. I took the first one right away when I started my WHOLE day of complete detailing of the car.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you know, I spent a better part of a night trying to figure out that sticker, because I saw that it was a partial sticker. Makes me wonder why the P/O kept the sticker on there when it was partial like that. Well now it has Flowmasters so maybe I can recover some of my HP I lost by slapping one of these on the back
