I have a 96 LT1 car with the t56. I am looking for a full exhaust system for the car that isn't a complete pain in the *** or junk. I have a cracked stock header and figure if I'm gonna take it apart might as well do it all so it's done and over with. Looking for a performance boost.

Have any of you found any kits that are good ?

 

I have kooks headers and corsa cat back. in my opinion the best combo for the lt1. pretty quite until you get on it. used to be a aftermarket copy on ebay for much less. haven't seen em in a while. not even sure the kooks and corsa are still available. headers are a pain no matter what.

 

speed engineering makes a stainless header that looks good for a good price. you in a state that allows long tube header?

 

I live in a rural area and they don't do smog testing or inspection
