Default Looking to buy a Z28. How much should I be paying?

Hey guys just had a quick question.

So I'm looking to buy a Camaro Z28 hopefully. Looking into anywhere from the years 95 - 2000. I've been looking for a couple of days now and most of the ones that I've came across are 95-96 and 97-98. How much should I be paying for one of these? What's a good price?

Thanks for your help.

Thank you!

berani is pretty close assuming the car is in great condition

it also depends exactly what years we're talking. 95-97 will cost less than the 98-00

Okay so I'm looking at a Red 1999 Z28 Camaro LS1. It has 95,000 miles on it. It's T Top, Fully loaded, Leather interior. After market exaust, k&n, with Car Fax report. Paint job on it is still in perfect condition, and the inside of it is close to perfect.

We talked, and came to a deal. He said he would let it go for $6500.

What do you guys think?

Get a mechanic to check it, If its all good I would go for it. We have seen a couple members get cars with bad trannies. If you don't do your own work that repair can run you $2500
