Long tube and ac clearance issues
Was hoping to get my motor back in this weekend but ran into an issue. Was putting the new headers on and the one primary tube was hitting the ac line and wasn't allowing the header to sit flush with the head. I bent it a little out of the way and the header mounts on the head perfect but now there's like an 1/8" clearance between the header and the ac line. There's not much more room I can get if I keep bending the pipe.
My dad suggested on having a section of the ac line removed and welded back together. But I don't know if that will work.
Any suggestions? Or will it be ok as it sets
I have a pic to post
