License plate mounting issues
Ive got an issue installing the front license plate. As you probably know there isn't a bracket, or holes to mount the plate, and as I live in Illinois they require that a front plate be installed at all times.
Any of you guys know of a way to mount the plate without drilling holes into the grill on the front? I heard rumors of something that mounts underneath the bumper and comes up and holds the plate in place.

I live in VA and we are also required to display a front license plate. I didn't want to put holes in the grill (because in the near future I'm moving to a state that does not require the front plate) so I have my plate on the dash. Not legal but it's been 6 months and no cops have cared so far. You can buy an OEM or aftermarket front license plate bracket, but all the ones I've seen still require drilling holes to mount it on the grill so I didn't see the point in buying one.

What I did with mine was cut the bottom portion off the plate, folded the top part of the plate up (to keep the Illinois crap on), cut a notch in the middle of the folded part, bent the plate in the middle to match the nose, drilled a hole on each side of the plate, and screwed it to the bumper. Cops never bothered me...

the best way in my opinion is to get the factory mounting bracket and mount it the way GM did. This does require drilling into the bumper but it will look like it should.

Oh and the aftermarket ones like Advance or O'Reilly sells do not form to the curve of the bumper.

Or you can go with the SLP Camaro Front License Plate Bracket:
