Most likely it is just an email collector. Guys are just looking to get valid email addresses. Its very common with cars and houses. I am suprised no one has flagged it yet.

o man i think its a steal guys!!! they seem confident...hear this story--

The car it's still available, has 37,393 miles, automatic transmission. It's in perfect condition, no engine problems (8 Cylinder, 5.7 L), no accidents/liens/loans. Exterior no scratches, never been repainted, interior no rips/tears/stains, never smoked inside. I have all the car's manuals, 2 spare of keys, clean title, documents. This 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS was my son's car, he loved it very much, but he didn't enjoy it...He died in a bike accident 9 months ago and now...I don't need it anymore. It brings very bad memories to me and I want to get rid of it....The price is $2,900.00
Me and my husband travel a lot with our business and we want to make this deal through eBay's Vehicle Purchase Protection Program. I just need your full name, full shipping address, along with your home/cell # so I can open a case (with no further obligation or fees). eBay will contact you with all the Transaction/shipping details you will need.
We hope to hear soon from you

P.S: Here's the VIN # 2G1FP22G8Y2134222

IT IS A SCAM. All you gotta do is google the car make (Camaro) along with the VIN, and you get this (plus a lot more about this car) : http://www.fightthescams.com/2011/02...let-camaro-ss/

OMG there are still people falling for this? Do an IP trace on the email. It will not be from this country. Normally Camaros dont get hit too hard cause they are not popular. I see this type of add daily for Mustangs.

that is a legit looking camaro too bad it is a scam lol. my girlfriend was looking at cars that were too good to be true awhile back. some of these scum bags were claiming to be military personel getting deployed, and asking for certain information. she nearly fell for it as well.

It's a scam. As soon as you see anything to do with eBay in a non eBay add it's a scam. eBay only deals with themselves.
