keyfob question

Default keyfob question

Hey all just wondering can a keyless entry fob from a 97 buick lesabre be programmed to work with my 98 camaro? if so how? i tried the progrm deal in the manual didnt work not sure if i have to do something with the fob to get it programable. any help is appreciated thanks

ive seen fobs that work with chevys and buicks so i think it will work but i dont know how to program it, if it was a 93-96 i would know but i dont know a whole lot about 98 and up

It should be compatible. I have a 02 Camaro Fob being used for my 97 right now. I'll try to dig up a website that I found that shows how to program them.
