I went to a local car lot for a friend to check out a Firebird for him its a 01 3.8 A4 had over 74k miles.... this guy was asking 8500 for it.... am the only one or is that kinda high for a 01 3800?

The car lot owner wanted me to trade my Camaro and 1000 for it....lol ill stick with my Maro. [8D]

 

Way to high. You can find those for around 6k.

 

That price is kinda high. Although my 00' was a little less than that, but it has 31,000 fewer miles.

yea that's too high, i got my 99 3.8 for $7000. It was absolutely mint condition inside and out and the guy only drove it 2k miles in 2 years. Plus put in leather and other stuff. That was 2 years ago though, so you can probly get something good for around 6 i'd imagine.

 

ifyour friendhas 8500 to drop though i'd just tell him to save up a couple thousand more and look into an ls1. You can find ones for 10-11 thousand with decent mileage if u look around

your post just reminded me though, i was looking at used cars the other day and asked them if they were lookin to have a camaro on their lot, and they said yeah so i asked them how much they'd give me for it and they said 4 thousand, i basically just laughed and walked away. I mean i know my cars a 99 and its a 3.8 but still, it has like 44k miles on it and is absolutely perfect condition. No dents, scratches, or anything.
