Talking Just picked it up yesterday!

Yes! I finally have a Camaro again! Just picked it up yesterday from a guy in Olivet, MI for $1300.

1994 3.4L auto, 211k miles. Smoked taillights and turn signals, sadly has the Salad Shooters instead of the 5-spoke rims in the pics. LS1 SS dual exhaust. It's a really good 20-foot car, but the paint is kind of bad in some spots, it has a couple bad rust spots underneath, and the (tan) interior needs some work (headliner is shot, driver's seat has no cushion left, some plastic pieces are broken), but I was looking for a project car. I plan on driving it until the motor and/or tranny craps out, then I have a 3.4 auto from a '95 that I'm going to swap in. In the meantime, I'm going to work on building up the '95 engine and fixing up the interior.

haha yeah, I liked the 5-spokes too. sadly, they didn't actually belong to this guy (they were his buddy's), so he obviously couldn't sell them to me.

Nice but WISpartan, this is exactly the kind of project I want to buy. Sowething w- high mileage & no past wrecks.

I want a 3.8 V6 w- 5 spd manual though & tear it down & build it back up for a weather permitting cruiser. Nothing fancy at all & paint it a light grey like titanium.

Have fun w- the project & keep us posted w- pics.

it hasn't had any "wrecks" per say, but apparently it was in a "civilian accident" in '96, so the front bumper doesn't quite line up like it should, and there's a bit of spider-cracking apparent.

I just got home to WI for Christmas Break, but the car is still in MI. I'll start a project thread once I officially begin working on it

After reading your post I started looking for higher mileage "build" canidates online. If I do go down that road it wouldn't be until after spring 2010 as I'm currently getting my 97SS going with the mods I have planned & I am still messing with my 2000 Z here & there with small stuff.
