Default Interior lighting problem

97 Convertible, 193,000 and running great. Tranny leaks a little, other than that, sweet ride. Bought it with 50K miles, 9 years ago and plan to take it to the grave. Anyway, couple of years ago I lost my interior lighting (back seat courtesy lights) and the trunk light. Finally checked the bulbs, they all work. Next checked voltage. 12.4 v ok BUT I now have positive voltage on BOTH leads to the lights. Checking my Haynes manual for the schematic and any possible ideas, I found a device called the BCM (Body Control Module) that I think could be it.

Am I on to something? Any ideas out there??? I haven't seen anything quite like it before.

Thanks,

Mike
