Default Intake Manifold Porting

Does anybody know where I could find a good website to get my intake manifold ported at? Or is it easy enough to do by myself, Could i expect any power gains from it?

dont go to audiforums....... a kid there blasted sand through his while it was still on his car [&:]

is this a normal mod? i was under the impression that the lt1 manifold is pretty good the way it is, which means u wont see any gains because u arent attacking a restriction point

The only thing you can really do is port match it to the heads once you get them done. I've heard of nothing benefiting just porting the intake.

Maybe you can go with suspension mods. It does no good to have all that power if you can't put it on the ground. This is a very common mistake and we all feel that if we get 1000hp then we can beat anyone. That 1000hp will beat no one if you're just spinning wheels. Maybe you can work on that until you can dig into the internals and build a stroker or sc it.

Really the only thing that you can do to the LT1 intake is port match it to aftermarket heads (as already brought up) or you can port out the front to fit a 58mm TB. In the stage you're at, you have bolt-ons finished, so now it's time for heads/cam if you're looking for more power. You're getting into the expensive stage.
