to install t tops

Question to install t tops

i have a 96 z28 camaro with out t tops but needs trany i am picking up a 95 trans am for $500 with no motor but with $2200 stuck in to the transmission is the main reason i am buying it but the TA has t tops and i was wondering if i could swap roofs to put the t tops on my camaro the TA interior is shot but with a good head liner thats y i ant swapping motors has anyone done this before

Dont think you can swap out roofs, the t-tops have a welded structure in the centre as you will see on the TA. I presume the camaro has a solid steel roof. I wouldnt like to go cutting the roofs off cars just to swap them.

Sell the t-top glass and make some bucks back

Wow. Thats awesome. I was thinking about doing this as well. Now i know how easy it is i just may tackle it.
