Default injectors question

94 3.4 can someone guide me in the right direction. i drove to work today and smelled gas when i got there. it was at 5 am this morning. figured, since it was dark out i would look when i get off. fast fwd to 430 pm and open the hood and after a couple minutes i find the source of the leak. my forward injector is leaking pretty bad enough to make a puddle under the car in 20 seconds or so. called the wife and she picked me up cause i didn't want to chance it. so with that in mind where do i get another set of injectors from. i figure with 250k might be a good idea to replace them all. also, what lb/ pressure do they run stock?

thanks in advance.

i would say it needs new o rings on the injectors. if the upper o ring goes it will leak fuel like you are seeing.

I have a completely stock 94 3.4L (named Dot) which had clogged injectors when I bought it last Oct. It had <14000 miles but had been sitting in a heated garage for years, hence the fuel delivery issue (varnish). About 3 weeks ago I purchased 6 new SMP 17 lbs/hr (fuel rate, not pressure) fuel injectors from Rock Auto and Dot now runs, drives, and handles like new! Don't get me wrong, she doesn't have the power of a V8, but she's sooo much fun to drive! That said, Craby may have a much cheaper solution in your case.

thanks, i took the injectors out and they were trashed, 240k took its toll on them. almost done putting it back together. i replaced the upper intake gasket and the valve cover gaskets while i was at it. i was thinking that this might cure my high idle issues i am having. should be done this weekend.

have a look at the egr and clean if needed. if it sticks open it will mess with idle.
