Default Information please.

I got a sweet deal on a 98 with a pretty much everything new except some interior back hatch plastic molding for the speakers. Looking for sites that cater to the fourth gen to fine tune my rebuild. Sites for body parts on the exterior or shops that specialize in camaro restoration. Thx for any info!

The forth generation Camaros are in that blind spot right now between being newer daily drivers and collector type cars. There are many items that are no longer available through GM and not supported by the aftermarket. In most cases used parts are your only options unless its a common failure point. Most interior pieces would fall in the Not available area.

For Shops that specialize in restoration are not going to be better at older cars. Your Camaro has a lot of plastic. More modern body shops may still be your best bet at least for body repair. Also body shops would depend on where on the earth you live. Your best bet is to go to a car local car show. Find work you like, ask who did it. I will bet at some point you will hear the same shop a few times. That is wear you should try first.

download the parts manual, parts are easier to find if you have the part number and manufactures name for it. pretty sure there are parts manual in the manual section. most new parts are now priced crazy. dash pads are around but the lesser quality (cheaper) ones dont last long although i see they are not availble now either. dang i knew i shoulda got a extra one.

He has a Camaro and that is a Firebird manual. Some parts are the same but not many interior parts. There is a free Camaro parts list floating around the internet.
