Default i'm stumped brakes

97 z28 vert

i replaced the brakes front and rear along with the slides and bushings everything is raybestus advanced tech. i started get a sqeal from the front pass wheel right after. this noise gets worst if i turn left and goes away if i turn right or step on the brake pedel. i have taken it apart a few times so far and replaced the brake hose. i cant find anything wrong. theres no play in the ball joints, tie rod ends or the hub. after replacing the hose i thought it went away but now it starts when the brakes warm up. any thoughts or suggestions on solving this issue

any oil at all on the pads? did you use the lube that goes between the pad and caliper?

No oil that I know of and yes I use a synthetic high temp ceramic brake grease on the back of the pads and all appropriate locations that one would put brake grease on

Did you replace the rotors too? If you reused/dressed the old ones, did you chip off the rust crust that tends to build up on the surface beyond where the pads ride? That can cause squeaky brakes.

Brand new raybestis rotors all the way around but I was bleeding the brakes earler and I was replacing the bleeder valve when I pulled it out the bottom of it had some rust on it looks like there may have been moister in the system I'm gonna replace the caliper and bleed the entire system see if that resolves this issue

Well turns out my hunch was right the piston was not seating all the way it was staying out less the 1/8 of an inch but it was just enough tho keep the pads in contact with the rotor just a hair and that was causing the squeal

But pads are suppose to stay incontact with the rotor at all time? There is a load cause by the seal. That is the way they work. When you where bleading the brakes did you get and brake fluid on the pads. That would do it. Also if you gaze the rotors during break in that will cause them to squeal until a repair is made.

squeals are mostly due to loose pads try bending the tabs on the pads to the caliper so they don't walk around in the calipers.

The 97 does not use tabs, It uses a spring load clip.

Ok maybe I worded that wrong yes the pads are touching but there not dragging any more and the new caliper did not totally fix the issue it is a significantly lower squeak now what would cause the rotors to gaze because they are but I didn't drive hard on them
