I wouldn't sell it either, especially if it was your grandma's and she's givin it to you. Sounds like a great deal man, take your time with it and make it right!

 

Ya. My grandma bought it off the lot in 1965.. It only has 10k miles.

 

Car is probably worth a pretty penny if its all original, unmolested and in decent shape.

 

It's getting fully restored fight now.

 

yep and its gona fight you all the way. lol. i had a 65 with the 289 and 4 sp a really really long time ago. buddy needed some money for school so i bought it off him for a good price and it got me around for almost a yr. there not so easy to drive as a 4th gen but the early ones turn some heads even back in the 80s, sure dont like to stay on the road once it brakes the tires lose, lol at least mine didnt.

 

Ya, I want to get it just to shut up all my friends that have Mercedes and lexus'. lol..

Yeah, I live in a rich town. I'm in the middle class village. Most of my friends live in kings point.
