so my 94z28 is black now but the paint is really looking ugly lately. so im thinking of respraying it gloss black again or a matte black...i really am having trouble deciding tho so if please voice your opinions...thanks in advance

also is there anyone who could run a carfax report on my car for me?

 

dont you have to pay for a carfax report?
if you go matte black then put some other type of design in the paint (racing stripes, a gold pearl to make it pop in the sunlight.)
im just not a big fan of ALL matte black cars

 

i think you do but i read that someone ran it for somebody on the forum so maybe he doesnt have to pay lol...but yah i was thinking gloss black stripes.. what do you think?

 

I may be totally off, but I'd think gloss black would be much easier to keep clean.

 

it all depends on how its painted. if you get a matte clear coat it wont suck in the oils ect. (i dunno how it would act in snow or where they put salt on the roads, or near the coast)
The professional paint jobs ive seen when the car is dusty or a little dirty all you need was a damp towel to wipe it off.

 

You can never go wrong with a shiny black coat but spend the money and get it done right and professionally from a good shop so it'll look good and last a long time. In regards to the Carfax, people will post in OT (maybe other areas too, not sure) sometimes about buying one and seeing if anyone else wants to pitch in a few bucks. Keep an eye out or make a new post about it and see if anyone is interested
