the Big bore TB's for the IONs dont work on the 03-04 2.2s.... well, they do, but not with the upgraded intake manifold(basically, one or the other will work. not both). because of the lack of a IAC sensor solenoid port. i know a guy who's gonna use a Ls1 TB, and make a adapter plate for the 03-04s with the intake mani. i think i'm gonna pursue this too. only thing i'm worried about is the TB on the LS1s is huge. Verse the 52mm stock TB on the 2.2(big bored ones are 62-68mm). and he beleaves it will cause turbulance to the sensor. we'll see what he comes up with.
