a 4 bolt main lt1 out of a 97 station wagon, with 60k for 300, no ecm or wires, is that the same block as the one in my car is it different?

 

any help?? cause if it is im about to have an extra lt1 really quick...please say something so i can get it before someone else

 

Same block yes... Different intake most likely... And most likely a different exhaust lol.

Make sure it's actually an LT1, not the baby version that came in the Caprice (L99).

 

yeah, i dont know what it was in, it just said station wagon

 

I believe all of the other cars with the LT1 were the other (L99) version. Caprice, Impala and the station wagons mentioned. The camaro LT1 were different. You might want to check with a Chevy dealer and maybe they can clear this up.

 

Lt1s with 4 bolt mains were only installed in Corvettes and in some of the Camaro SS models. Engines used in "B" bodies had 2 bolt mains and iron heads, and most of the "B" body Chevys came with the small displacement version.

 

yeah thats what confused me, cause it said 4 bolt main...so idk, ill check up on it
