yeh id just change the Z28 to an SS... ls1s are gettin cheap i was so pissed i bought my 97 like 3 months ago for 8995 and i just saw a 99 for 7995. i about flipped ****.

 

Personally id rather have a 98-02 T/A... now THOSE are sexy... BUT id say take a Z and buy a hood and a spoiler. youd spend like a couple 1000 more for an SS and only a couple hundred for the hood and the spoiler and im sure a matching paint job would only cost a couple hundred more.

 

i think ive made up my mind... if a low priced Z comes on the market ill just take that then convert it but i will keep waiting for that perfect SS =)

 

why are you so mad about that? whats wrong with your 97?

 

like nothing's wrong with it i would just much rather have gotten an LS1, i had a lot of fun with our old LS1 (even tho it was a vette) and imo they look a little nicer.

 

you got a semi rare car...i'd be more than happy. hell i am, haha. if its power you're concerned about your 97 ss has 15 less horsepower than an ls1
