I bought one,a 1999 Camaro on Monday and did well after that.I bought it from a private owner and it was taken care of,I seen the service records.It has the LS1 which I was told was the better engine.I did have my mechanic,Gerald look it over and he said it looked good although it ran a little rough which was a simple fix.Owner had a tune up done just before he decided to sell it.My mechanic found the problem right away and runs great now.My mechanic pulled out every spark plug this morning and said Bosch on them which the Bosch plugs went in the garbage can.Gerald sees nothing but problems with Bosch spark plugs.He did replace them with AC Delcos and also did a compression test which the result were great.Compression was over a hundred on each cylinder.Plus it had a cylinder missfire code,on #2 and #6.I am happy,car runs great and lots of power.

Sounds good, but shouldnt the psi be around 150 t0 180 psi ?

 

I do not get trusted with the new cameras,I drop them.It is teal and a Z28.I have been driving it a lot lately.Equipped with an automatic transmission that was rebuilt 3 monthes ago and a lot of upgrades were put in,MSD coils,Flowmaster exhaust system and a set of high performance tires.Goes in the body shop next week,has a couple dings and paintwork done in certain spots that are getting fixed

 

Compression was 180 on all cylinders.
