how to tell if real slp spoiler of fake & worth ??
I have a guy going to sell me a 1998 Camero SS rear spoiler, He says it is a SLP SS spoiler, that it had a few chips but was repaired. How can i tell if it is a real SLP and what is it worth. he is asking $300 firm

From what I know the original SS spoiler is a two piece design. You should be able to see a seam if looking at it from the back side. I believe all other after market spoilers are a one piece design. This is regarding hoods and spoilers from SLP: 1996-1997 models were sent to SLP with all their parts intact and received their new ones while there. 98-02 cars were shipped to SLP with no rear spoiler and a slave hood and then received their new upgraded parts.
