Default How Rare Is Your Car? See inside

I'm reposting this from another site. Pretty much it breaks down your 1980-2010 GM with RPO codes etc. Even gives you a rarity factor.

http://www.compnine.com/vid.php

How rare is your car? I'm interested in what others say.

Mine

"There are 1 1995 CAMARO CONVERTIBLE vehicles (0.006%) matching your exact options list. There are 1 (0.006%) with at least as many options."

Apparently you can check how it stacks up with the most important options, but it seems to be down.

Mine is 1 of 29. I have been using that site to check if the SS's I have been looking at are true SS's or ones that some one added the hood and wing to.

Apparently almost every car I have ever owned has been one of a kind. My IROC-Z is, my '08 Cobalt was, and my '10 Cobalt isn't even in the database. I can't find a record of the Eagle Talon's VIN number, mind you, but even the POS Ford Taurus I drove for one winter turned out to be very very rare.

Hmm. Methinks it does not matter very much :V

Yes they are all BW T5s (for V6s any way) and T56 for the V8s

the reason a car is "one of a kind" has to do with options, seat color, body color ect cars are more unique than rare alltho its kinda cool to say its rare and one of a kind

ya it says its one of a kind but then you scroll down and find out that after the first few options theres a few thousand cars with the same options.

ya your car may be rare because you have one thing different from every other car with the same options

I wish you could select which options you wanted to compare to see a more realistic number, but oh well. Still kinda cool imo
