How much miles does your 4th gen have
#22
1998 Z28 Convertible. 78,989. I noticed I was about to turn 79k on the way to work! I'm not a gearhead by any stretch of the imagination, but the motor and transmission are still top notch.
My biggest complaint about the car is how cheap the interior bits are. The leather is grabage. The front seats will be replaced at some point-other $#!T just keeps popping up in my life to prevent my dream of replacing them.
I replaced the shocks and springs at about 65k with the KYB's. They helped with the handling, but dropping the car seems to be a bad idea unless you like bottoming out over small dips and bumps.
Also, pray to God you never have to use the spare tire. Getting it back in its storage area without it rattling everywhere seems to be nearly impossible. I'm considering dumping it. With the 18's on there, it's probably useless anyway. I bought one of those tire inflation kits instead.
Oops...sorry for the rant. Did I mention just under 80k miles, LOL!

I found out my 02 had been lowered by a previous owner, which didn't help when I was driving it through Southern California, with all the dips and crap they have in the roads. I thought we had it bad with our millions of potholes. Every intersection was a lesson in clearance issues.
Anyway yah, I took my car on a 6000 mile road trip to California and Texas, and it was fantastic the whole way. I was glad I'd traded my Cobalt for it, even with the loss in gas mileage.
Still~ I am selling it now 'cause I like my IROC a lot more, and I don't have space for a 3rd car anymore. :/

Ive got about 165k on my 93 3.4l. Just did the intake gaskets on it last week.... Gonna redo them again in one week... Make sure you RTV the valleys extremely well if you don't want to do it again!
But I love the car, needs some body work, but for the mileage on it, it runs like a dream.

My 3.4L has 213,000 and it runs like a dream after it warms up! Love that car to death
Head gasket at 203,000 and my tranny is still missing 1st gear...works fine without

about 127k on the body and 45k on the engine in my 98 V6. replaced the engine at 124k because 2 rod bearings melted to the crank. now its stilling in a storage unit because either the head gasket blew or the intake gasket.
