Our winters are too long, too cold, and too icy. The Camaros are gonna get parked and I'm picking up an '88 Buick Lesabre for $700 to drive instead.

tires make all the difference and with the base model you should have an open rearend. that should help in the snow. posi can be a challange.

Your going to love this winter. They say it's going to be alot colder then last year with 3x's the amount of snow. Might have to just start riding the sled everywhere.

you would think more traction with a posi in snow would be correct buttt,,, when both wheels spin the rear of the car will slide all over making control difficult. when only one wheel spins the rear is more stable.

I'm in Kalamazoo MI and our winters are terrible! If the snow and ice doesn't get ya the salt certainly will. My Camaro is tucked away and I'm in a 4WD S10 Blazer. We get...what they call lake effect snow from lake michigan and lots of it.

Try living in traverse city. That's where I'm from and my maro is stowed away every year as well.

I live in eastern Washington state and my Camaro is in the garage, all tucked away for the winter now. It is absolutely no fun driving around here once it gets cold. Glare ice, deer, and yuppies from Portland driving through in their Subaru's that think AWD makes them better drivers....NOT!

I'll be driving my 3/4 ton full size with a couple tow cables in the back. I make a few hundred bucks each winter pulling idiots out of ditches.
