top is missing. i used to have one that had the top but would not stay, ill have to have a quick look see.

Yeah thats mine in the picture. No top to it. All good tho, I think I'll just secure it and find something to cover it with. With everything I have laying around I should be able to come with something.

Id just hit a junkyard and pop off those hood stops. You know you are getting the right thing then. As for the junction box, I made a completely new connection and tucked it away.

I actually made one of those basically. Haha.

But craby, if you wouldnt mind, what is the purpose of that junction? Why didn't they just tie it into the positive terminal?

a few to many wires to be puttin on a battery cable.
