Default Hold on to your 4th gens guys!

According to the Camaro Registry, 7 out of the top 10 lowest production years happen to be 4th gens.

1. 2001 29,009
2. 1990 35,048
3. 1993 39,755
4. 1999 42,098
5. 2002 42,098
6. 2000 45,417
7. 1972 68,651
8. 1996 66,827
9. 1992 70,712
10. 1998 77,198

Low sales may have ended the Camaro's run after 2002, but for those of us who own one may have a nice investment in about 15-20 years. Z28 and SS models may go for nice money if you keep them looking and running great.

The elitist snobs who hated the 4th gen may be forest green with envy one day. My sixer is on its 2nd tranny and 3rd engine and I have no plans to junk it anytime soon. Your car may end up being described as a survivor car on Barrett Jackson one day!

If you blow a motor and can't fix it...sell the remains to someone who can!

Damn I got a 96 but it won't be worth much once it's turbo'd. Guess I'll have to buy a non rare year any turbo it instead.

I just picked one up for pretty much just that purpose.
2002 SS with 26K on it in premo condition.
If I stick to my plan in 20 years it might be just turning 70K if that and I'll be retired and 71. Its either a safety net if it does what its suppose to or a good inheritance for my kids!!

there for a 93 only. motor would work on 93-97 but 700r4 trany and ecru will only work in a 93 z28. a unique freak. gona keep em block will be stroked to 383 in the near future.

Because I was looking to do a v6 to v8 swap (I know buy a v8 blah blah) and I have been looking for a wrecked z28 or ss so i can get most of the needed parts. Sounds like a plan 383s are a sweet motor my dad had one in his truck.
