Default HIGH oil pressure???

I recently had my head gaskets replaced on my 94 Z28 about 200 to 300 miles ago, I decided too go full throttle 1,2,3,4 gears ( burning out), street racing, afterwards I noticed my oil pressure gauge off the meter it didn't come back down. I was just wondering if I damaged my car, it feels ok but a lil different????

Does it come back down with the key (and engine) switched off? It should, otherwise it's the gauge, or a short in the wiring.
Try and go easy on the burnouts, your car will never thank you in a nice way.

you may have a wire on the exhaust or pinched somewhere. the oil pressure sensor and wires is in a position to be damaged during a head change. look the things over for any issues. you could be burning oil off the heads and exhaust that got on there during the repair.
